Hard Chrome plating is an electrolytic method of depositing chrome for engineering application,
from a Chromic acid solution.
Deposits can be applied from .25 - 1000 microns thickness for a wide range of apllication.
Hard chrome is an effective treatment for a variety of metals.
Hardness of deposit( 850 - 1050 H.V) or 60 - 70 Rock well( HRC) Giving greater wear resistance.

The thinner deposits being used to substantially increase the life of components in wear application
or corrosive environments, and the thicker deposits being used for salvage and repair of worn, damaged
or mis-machined components.
